For the Love of the Game

Anyone who knows me knows that I love the game of baseball.

I'm definitely not a gifted player -

I love watching, listening and just being surrounded by it.

Last night we spent the night at what I will always call Jacob's Field (now known as Progressive Field). 

It was a gorgeous night to be at the ballpark with just a little chill in the air.

This was our second trip to The Jake this season and I'm hoping that little Nixie will love the sound of the stadium when he/she joins us since he/she will have been there a few times now.

That's really the whole point of this post. 

Just excited to share me and The Hubs' love for baseball with the wee one.

A Love Note

I miss the feeling of turning you on and feeling your warmth – all night long.

I can’t stop thinking about the deliciousness that we made together.

I long for the day when I can make you mine again.

When I can give you my most prized possessions and know that you’ll keep them safe.

But most of all, I can’t wait to share our sweet treats with the world!

Get your mind out of the gutter!

This is all about my love for having my own kitchen.

I can't wait to be cooking in my own space.

Trying new recipes.

Photographing everything.

And sharing it all with all my friends.

Counting Our Blessings

This has been an incredible last few months.

Not only did we find out that we're having a little Chance, but we've also had a successful transition (so far) moving away from military life and into the civilian world.

The Hubs found a job!

We are in the process of buying a house!

There just isn't much more a girl like me could ask for.
